Back Width

It’s my understanding that rows (supine, close-grip, bent-over, T-Bar, dumbbell, etc) are for back thickness. And so, what exercises are useful for back width besides pull-ups, chin-ups, and pullovers? Preferably, I would like to avoid lat pulldowns or any other machines…unless I can’t.
