Best of the Best in Workout Music: The 2009 Rock EditionThe songs are the best in the Rock (and Alternative Music) category from workout playlists made in 2009. Rock is my favorite type of music to lift weights to, and in 2009, I made 12 workout Rock playlists made. Surprisingly, as much as I love hip hop, this was the hardest type of music to narrow down my favorites to a manageable number … so I made 2!

The songs are arranged alphabetically (by song title), but you’ll find that in both parts, there is quite a variety in the music tempo, but in part one, most of the songs are of the more mellow variety, like Bombs Away (Whole Wheat Bread) and Hot Mess (Cobra Starship). Are there any of your favorites on this? Did I miss anything?
