Best of the Best in Workout Music: The 2009 Rock Edition (Part 2)
The songs are the best in the Rock (and Alternative Music) category from workout playlists made in 2009. Rock is my favorite type of music to lift weights to, and in 2009, I made 12 workout Rock playlists made. Surprisingly, as much as I love hip hop, this was the hardest type of music to narrow down my favorites to a manageable number … so I made 2!
The songs are arranged alphabetically (by song title), but you’ll find that in both parts, there is quite a variety in the music tempo. In Part 1, there are more mellow songs, but in part two the bangers really come out, like with Lunatic (Static-x). Still, there are slower paced songs too, like Oh My God (Ida Maria).
